Stepmom Card

Right now I am experimenting with card size. I just wish I could find different size envelopes to match the cards. I made this card for stepmom and since I was mailing it with a gift I didn't worry about an envelope. It is 4x4 the smallest size I have ever used. I thought it was cute. I made the flower out of ribbon and a button. I hot glued the button over the ribbon. After I finished it I decided that I should have added more "petals", but it was to late since I already hot glued the button down. Oh well you live and learn. I stamped the word stepmom on a strip of cardstock with purple ink and mounted it with mounting tape. It is very simple but cute. I am really starting to like the simple look. By the way this idea came from a dream too. I think I am going to start keeping track of which ones come from dreams. Thanks for looking happy crafting!!
