Mothers Day Gifts

I made my MIL and stepmom a frame for Mothers Day. I know there is only one picture that is because the only difference between the two are the flowers. They each had been bugging me for a picture of my husband and I. I picked our engagement photo because it is my hubby and I's favorite one of us. I love it because we are matching in the photo and you can see the glee on our faces. Oddly enough I had been stressing out for days on what I was going to make for tham gift wise and card wise. My mom died before I really got into crafting and before I even thought about card making so this was my first year doing anything for mothers day. I don't know about any other crafters but I tend to have crafting dreams like 5 out of 7 nights. Most of my projects I do I can crank out pretty fast but that is because I have already done the hard part in my sleep. I ended up making these frames in one of my dreams. When I woke up all I could think was that is absolutely perfect! I painted the frame brown for two reasons one: a dark color makes the flowers "pop" more and two: it match our shirts almost perfectly. I just hot glued the flowers onto the corners. Before I adhered the flowers I put the picture in. And before I painted the frames I wrote the occasion and date on the back of them. We celebrated Mothers Day with my MIL last night and loved it! It made me so happy to make her happy. Thanks for looking happy crafting!!
