Christmas Presents for Husband and Brother in Law

The above picture is the tye dye t-shirt I made my brother in law for Christmas. It was much brighter before the wash I don't really know what happened. I will be doing a ton of research before I do another tye dye project.
The above picture is the cover of the mini album I did for my husband as is Christmas present. It has pictures of his beloved childhood dog. I never met Tonka but I feel like I did from all the stories. The below pictures are the pages and back cover.

Thanks for looking!!

Birthday Cards

The above card I did for my father in laws birthday. I have a very hard time with male cards. I inked the edges and added the ribbon. I popped the image I inked those edges as well. I am entering this card in totallypapercrafts challenge. http://totallypapercrafts.blogspot.com/2011/07/one-for-boys.html
I did the above card for one of my cousins. It is really tiny so a may enlarge it next time I make one. I inked the edges on this one as well. The jewel on the flap is a brad. I really like how this one turned out. Thanks for looking!!

Birthday Card and a Christmas present

The above card I made for my grandmas birthday. She is a HUGE shoe person plus a freak for bling. I think this card is very her!! The size is 4x6. I am entering it in Bearly mine challenge, and papertake weekly challenge.

I have start really early on my Christmas presents. I know what I am making everyone by February 1st and start working immediately. I do this since I make all my gifts, tags, wrapping, and cards. Plus I am in college now. I made these super cute clothes pin magnets with scraps of patterned paper and embellishments. This gift is for my grandma as well.

Scrapbooking Saturday

Though I made three cards to send to the Tulsa store. I spent the majority of my Saturday scrapbooking. I worked on my parents wedding album, but also did a page in my husbands book.

The layout above is the layout on my husbands 25th birthday. It was the first birthday we were together for. I made him the tye dye shirt he is wearing. On the night of his birthday we went to the Iguana Cafe for a poetry reading. It was also the first time I read my poetry out loud. I made this layout for one of the July Challenges on Scrapjazz. We had to use circles and at least one border and a neutral background.

The above layout is the layout I did on Nicole walking down the aisle. I hardly ever use a patterned paper as a background paper, but I really liked the design. The man walking her is her nephew Eric. The above layout was the double pager on the ceremony. I hardly ever do two pagers but I really liked how this one turned out. This particular book will have several two pagers so I am glad I am getting the practice and the challenge. Thanks for looking!
