Time Traveled I Guess

I have no idea what is going on. My layouts look like my beginner pages! I mean they are ok but SUPER simple and plain. I don't know what happened or how to fix it! I did these for some more COW challenges. The one above is for COW #42 I had to use my least favorite colors so I used red and white, fibers (the bakers twine), and 3 pictures to one page. These pictures are from my first craft/hobby fair last may.
The layout above is COW #33 it had to be school related, piece of ribbon, buttons (i used sticker buttons, and journaling. The picture is from when i received my acceptance letter to the college I go to now, and the journaling is the actual letter!
I made the above frame for my dads birthday next month. I like it.

Well the semester starts Monday and so does my new job!! Plus I have 3 huge orders to fill crafting wise so if I am not around as much I am sorry. I will try to pop in as much as possible. Ta ta for now!

First of 2012

I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year. I was gone visiting family for a week and couldn't craft at all! I was having some serious withdrawals! I didn't get to craft til the first. Here are my projects enjoy!

Sadly my first project of the year was a sympathy card. A family friend and my 5th grade teachers husband died in December. My heart breaks for her. I hate doing sympathy cards but besides the subject I think it turned out well.
I am trying to catch up with 2011 COWs over at scrapjazz.com. I did this two pager for COW #40- use solid purple paper as your background; patterned paper; border punch; ribbon; brads. This layout is about my cousin who was born some serious health issues. We wern't even sure if she was going to survive but she is happy and healthy! The poem is called Hope. The above card is for my cousin her birthday is tomorrow! I literally had no inspiration for this! It's ok not one of my best.

The layout above was what I wanted to do instead of the card so I forced myself to the card and did the layout afterwards as a reward! It is COW #40- use old patterned paper; shape punches NOT a circle or square (I used a mini butterfly punch); use pictures you were putting off scrapping. This layout is super simple but I like it. For several months I have been focused on gifts and cards and haven't been able to do any personal scrapping but I am definitely in the mood now! I hope to finish 2011 COWs and finish up 2011 pictures! Have a great day!
