End of a Project

These are the last three layouts in my parents wedding album. I love how the entire book turned out, but I am still very sad it is over. For me it is the process of a project that is fun not the end result. Now I just have to wait til Christmas to give it to them lol. I wonder if I can wait? How to feel about a project ending?

Weekend Work

The layout above I did for my parents wedding album. I like how it seems to be spinning.
I did the card above for my husbands uncles birthday. It is made of two different patterned papers and a die cut. I like how manly it is.
I did the above layout for my parents wedding album. I love the butterflies!
I did the above card for my step mother, it is a thinking of you card. I sent her some embellishments. I layered two patterned papers and cut flowers out with my cricut. I put silver brads through the middles of the flowers. I faux stitched around the flowers with a black pen.
I made the above get well card for my friend who is having surgery soon. I colored the digital stamp with markers. I cut the rectangles of patterned papers with my cricut. I cut the circles of black polka dotted paper with my cricut. I put them behind clear epoxy stickers.
The layout above is for the wedding album. The red picture mats, journaling spot, flowers, and title are all the same paper. I like that the butterfly is the only bright colored item on the layout.
The above layout is for the wedding album. I used the design from the Our First Christmas layout I did last week.

The four cards above are the Christmas cards I made.
I made the above card for a friends birthday.
This is the Christmas ornament I made out of a cd. I painted both sides with black craft paint. I stamped snowflakes in silver ink on the white cardstock, I cut the edges with wavy sissors. I popped them on the cd with mounting tape. I punched a hole in the cd with my crop-a-dile. The string is hemp.

Christmas is a Coming!

The layout above follows COW 34. 2 solid and 2 patterned paper scraps, embellies of my choice, and a journal spot/card. I did this layout for Danny's book. I absolutely love it! I love the journaling card, the background, and the title worked really well.
I made the above Christmas card with bauble die cuts. I faked stitched around them.
I did the above layout for the wedding album for a Christmas gift! I made the title with my cricut. I like the flowers, a little splash of color.

Layouts

The above layout is for my cookbook. I did the title and "olives" and "bell peppers" with the cricut. I only have the George and Basic Shapes cartridge, but I thought outside the box! I made this pizza for the first time on my birthday last year and it is now a family favorite.
I did the above layout for my parents wedding album. I think it turned out well. I really like the journaling spot. Thanks for looking!

A Christmas Card and a COW

I created the above Christmas card above using a clear stamp set. It is very simple but cute. I only have 37 left to make!
The layout above is for Danny's scrapbook. I kinda followed COW#27. The only guideline I followed was using the word hero in my title. I let my creativity guide me. I used my cricut for the title, the journaling circle, and the tag. I fake stitched with a white gel pen around everything. I really like how it turned out! Thanks for looking!

A Saturday Well Spent

Today was a great day! I got my cricut today!!! It came with George and Basic Shapes Cartridge . So of course I had to play with it right away. I have been focusing my creativity energy on other people lately so I decided to make something just for me. I made a Christmas planner, just the holder I will make the lists starting tomorrow. I used a basic grey Christmas collection. I used my cricut for the lettering. I had never made one before but found it easy and a lot of fun.

The layout above is the first project I ever used my cricut on!!! It's COW#32. A learning experience, 3 or more photos, brads, buttons, and at least one fabric flower.
I did this layout for one of the monthly challenges at Scrapjazz. I masked the word Dogwood with light pink ink. This was the first time I had ever tried this technique, which is why it isn't perfect. I will definitely be trying it again!
I made the above Christmas card with die cuts! It is size 4x6. The inside says merry Christmas. I am entering it in Totally Papercrafts Christmas challenge here is the link http://totallypapercrafts.blogspot.com/2011/08/challenge-80-christmas-in-august.html.

I made the above Christmas card with a rubber stamp. The size is 4x6. Inside says Merry Christmas.

All in all are great and productive day!! Thanks for looking!!

Swap Cards and a Layout

The card above is one for the holiday swap for August. The challenge was black and pink, I was so not happy about this. I paper pieced both the bird and hat. I drew the hat pieces myself. The size is 4x6. Inside says Merry Christmas.

The card above is the another holiday swap card for August. I cheated with this one. I stamped black and dark pink snowflakes. The dark pink is called Merlot, it looks red in the picture. The size is 4x6. Inside says Merry Christmas.

I did the above layout for my parents wedding album. I followed the challenge at Scrapjazz- this months inspiration challenge. We needed the use a card that was shown in the thread. I got inspiration from the borders, the polka dots, and the theme- love/anniversary. Thanks for looking!

Baby Boy Card

A friend of my roommates suddenly hand a baby (she had no clue she was pregnant). Since she had nothing for the baby we all started gathering things for her. I knew she could get clothes, blankets, and such for other people. But I knew she would need diapers and wipes so my husband and picked her up some when we went shopping yesterday. I also made her this card. Though she had no idea about the baby he needs to know she as support. This card is my favorite baby card I have made to date! I am entering it in Creative Card Crew's challenge http://creativecardcrew.blogspot.com/2011/08/hand-made-flowers.html Thanks for looking!
P.S I handmade the flower lol.

Card Set and a COW

I did the layout above for my cookbook scrapbook. I also fulfilled a COW. Number 31 I needed to use scraps of paper, a metal embellishment, and swirls of some kind. The metal embellishment says delight. The first time I made this was Valentines Day it was so yummy!!
My grandma order the card set above. I really liked how it turned out. Thanks for looking!!

Mini Album and Christmas Card

Over at scrapjazz one of the August challenges was to that a layout you have made inspire a card. This challenge was so fun! I may do this again!! Over course it is one of the Christmas cards, those seem to be my obsession right now. I only need to make 43 more! (I know that is still a lot!)

I made this mini album, the cover is only shown, for a friend that recently had a baby. I loved how it turned out! Thanks for looking!

Christmas cards and a sweet COW

The above picture is layout I did for COW#28. The theme was mobility; needed to use a ribbon scrap; and ink edges. This layout is about the day I gave my entire heart to my husband. There is a typo in the journaling I was suppose to say for our one month but I said for our one year. Oops! I used chipboard pieces that I inked, brads under the title and on two corners of the picture. The other two corners are the ribbon scraps. This was the first layout I ever typed the journaling for.
I did the above Christmas card last night. I really like it. It is very simple but the fact that most of it is black and white with just the hat in color is super cool! The size is 4x6.

The above card I with two stocking die cuts that I inked the edges of. The holly is a stamp that I colored. The size is 4x6. I am down to needing to make 44!! Which is good since I got another store deal to make stuff for!! Anyway thank you for looking!!

Christmas Cards and a COW

The above picture is the COW 30 layout. I am behind on the COWS and am catching up but doing them out of order (I know I am bad!). This COW we needed to use the sketch provided. I really like how this turned out. There is light pink flowery paper and baby blue with white polka dots under the pictures but you can hardly see them in the picture. I am halfway done with the wedding album! I order a Christmas kit from someone on yardsell.com. It is the only time I ever get big company papers. The background is one of those papers. What I love about these papers is that they are double sided. I love basic grey!!!!The above picture is the other Christmas card I did last night. The background is the other side of the paper I used on the other card. The stickers are cardstock stickers from basic grey as well. Thanks for looking!!
